during SU's Welcome Week and the first week of classes!
Come meet your fellow first-years, new and returning students, and
the friendly members and leaders of CCM!

Luau & Ice Cream Truck
Thursday, Aug. 27
5:30 - 7:30 pm, Village Courtyard
Spend some tropical time with your fellow new students! Enjoy grilled burgers, hotdogs, and tropical drinks. Play lawn games like Corn Hole, Spike Ball, Limbo, and Frisbee. Most of all, grab your frozen treat from our Ice Cream Truck!
First Mass & New School Year's Eve Party
Sunday, Aug. 30
5-7 pm, Goodson Chapel
Come to our first Catholic Sunday Mass of the year! After 5 pm Mass, in the Goodson Chapel lobby, we will celebrate New School Year's Eve! Enjoy Southern BBQ, dessert, and fizzy drinks to ring in the new year! Everyone receives a free CCM t-shirt and other SWAG. Win RAFFLE prizes and meet fellow new students and CCM members!
First-Year Getaway
Thursday, Sept. 3
6-8 pm, Jim Barnett Park
(Walkable next to campus!)
Get away the first week of classes and enjoy Jim Barnett Park next to campus! There will be outdoor games, fun activities, dinner, and time to get to know your fellow first-years!
Meet at 5:40 pm at the Student Center's front patio. You will fill out liability forms and then we will walk 7 minutes together to Jim Barnett Park.
If you miss us, meet us at Jim Barnett Park's Optimist Pavilion (1235 Maple Dr., Winchester, VA 22601), which is across the street from the playground and main pavilion (Christianson FamilyLand).
